ভিটেমাটি অস্থাবরে মিলেছে নগর।
হাসছে দারুণ সোনার ছেলে
কাঁদছে সবাই লাভের আশে
সন্তান হয়ে সন্তান মারে
আমার খাদ্যেও বিষ ঢালে!
গর্ভে নিলি যত্ন দিলি
স্বাধীন বলে দেশ দিলি
পরাধীন মাগো নিজেই দেখলি।
এখন আবার কোথায় যাবি?
আমায় এখানে একলা রাখি।
না খেয়ে মা খেতে দিলি
সোনার ফসল বুনে গেলি
প্রতিদানে সংকট পেলি
নিবৃত্তে সবই সয়ে নিলি।
আর মানবতা…
তাই বলে কি খাদ্যেও বিষ ঢালে?
মারবে যারা মরবে তারা
ওরাও হবে সর্বহারা।
কাঁদিয়ে আমায় পড়বে ধরা…
শিশুর সংজ্ঞা মাগো কী করে আজ
অবিচার অপমৃত্যুতে…!
